The Local Examinations Syndicate of Cambridge University in England (UCLES) has accredited the Computer Science Institute to offer the Cambridge Information Technology (CIT) Diplomas and Certificates. Cambridge Information Technology is a flexible modular scheme for assessing competence in Information Technology skills, and depending on the student, can take as little as 9 months to do part-time. It is totally new career option intended for those leaving school or planning a career switch.

Conference Internet Connectivity

Intekom has kindly agreed to provide a 128Kbps Diginet connection for the duration of the conference. Internet facilities for web browsing, email and other applications will be available to all conference delegates and presenters, and the favourable bandwidth will allow us to demonstrate CUSeeMe videoconferencing and other bandwidth-intensive services.

Equipment and logistics

Advanced Cabling will be installing network cabling for the conference venue.
